after showing output window laptop reboots
After compiling and running the simplest Hello World Console program using new project Console Application template, the output window is displayed, and then my laptop (Acer - Windows 7) reboots.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?

That was horrible, but I can't reproduce this kind of reboots in my system(WinXP). I guess you have some hardware error?

C::B is applications, so it can't cause a reboot on a normally working system. You are not running windows 98, so you have hardware/driver/os issue, but not issue with C::B.
