Bug #17745 2010-11-27 02:01

Problem with stepping using toolbar button

A quick search did not show this problem to have been reported.

I am using CodeBlocks 10.10 on Kubuntu 8.04, Kubuntu 10.04, and the latest version under Windows with the included MinGW.

I have been seeing an issue that I believe might be a bug, but of course it might be something to do with my configurations.

When debugging and repeated clicking the toolbar button for stepping through the program most of the time I cannot get the debugger to step unless I move the mouse pointer off of the toolbar button and back over it. If I use the keyboard shortcut there is no problem stepping the debugger.

Since I see this for sure on the two different Kubuntu installations I don't think that it is tied to a particular version of KDE. I need to retest on Windows to see if it behaves the same way there, but it definitely is repeatable on the two Linux installations.

If no one else has seen this then can you suggest a way to track the problem down?

Thanks,

Burt

Duh! I am using CodeBlocks 10.05, not 10.10 just to correct my typo. I was thinking about trying Ubuntu 10.10 and that caused me to fat finger what version of CodeBlocks I'm currently using.

Sorry about the confusion.

Burt
