I have noticed when in comments, several auto-complete functions will still show up. Also if certain characters are in a comment it can effect the auto-indent.

Indent example: if there is a ( somewhere in a comment without a closing ) . Anywhere after that comment if you use any () code it will auto-indent to the opening ( in the comment.
