MS Visual C++ 2008 debugger terminates with error

Maybe a low priority... but the cdb debugger does not launch properly from CodeBlocks - it reports an inability to find the symbol file (which exists!), even though verbose debugger output implies it is looking in the correct place. Since cdb is located elsewhere and has to be told where to find the sources, exe, etc., I infer that there is some problem with the information CodeBlocks is passing when it spawns the debugger.
