Open tab as separate window

It would be nice to be able to open an editor tab in a separate window (with it's own task-bar button - on MS Windows it is a framed window with NULL parent). I first experienced this feature on Altera Quartus II and find it extremely useful on multiple screens.

Other than that I am enjoying the IDE immensely - thank you.

PS. If a plugin that can do this exists, please point me in the right direction.
