ValGrind support as a plugin

Hi, I have recently started using this IDE. and thanks to all of you build such a nice lightwaight userfriendly IDE for linux. But I think you can improve more by adding plugin support for external debugging tools like gdb and valgrind. I am more interested to see a valgring plugin for my IDE. Thanks, Soumyadeep

Hi Soumya,

It is inside our repo. But only caveat is that you need to build this plugin from source. If you are using Ubuntu, then try installing contrib plugin packages. I don't remember when this plugin was checked in. So it may not exist in contrib plugins package.

GDB support is already integrated.

I have installed codeblocks-contrib but I don't see the valgrind plugin for code::blocks. I want to try to build it from sources. Can you tell me where can I find its sources?

(I have valgrind installed on my comp and I can use it from kdevelop) My current system version is: Build: Apr. 19, 2009 15:51:11 - wx 2.8.9 Code::Blocks 8.02 OS: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux User interface: KDE 4.2.2

This feature already exists, at least in the SVN version. Thank you.
