Support for multiple compilers/languages

A feature, that I beleive is missing from the IDE is support for multiple compilers provided using some sort of plug-in interface, so that other developers were able to create a plug-in for a compiler of their preference, be it C++, some kind of .Net (Mono) compiler or Java or any other compiler.
