wxSmith: Names for menu/toolbar items
At the moment I have no possibility to set my own variable names for menu items and toolbar items. It would be nice if I could to this as in other controls. Support for applying event handlers to menu items or toolbar items would also be nice.

This can be done, but you have to select menu/toolbar item inside resource tree (I have to figure out some better solution though). Is this all you need ? If yes, we can close this feature request :)

I missed that possibility totally. I think I was too influenced by wxGlade, where the items are only accessible in the editor and not in the resource tree. I agree to close this request.
