Project Tree Customization

In other IDE's, it is possible to customize the project tree as displayed in the IDE by adding folders, rearranging files, etc. In CodeBlocks, the project tree customization is limited to sorting by filetype (which is often more annoying than useful) and using directories as they exist on disk. Being able to add virtual directories (directories that only exist in the project file) and to sort project files in the project tree however you want would be a great feature that would accelerate file navigation in the IDE.
