The place holder thing
Im not sure if you all have fixed this or not, but I like to write code with a black background, but when I make the background black, I cant see the blinking line that shows where you're typing at on the editor. the "|" looking thing, except it blinks. (Sorry if this is hard to understand :( )

The blinking thing is called the caret. ;)
You can change the color of the caret. Settings -> Editor -> Margins and caret.
