Wrong behavior of the error limit

I have a file with 50+ errors in it. The error limit is set to 50: both the build log and the build messages tab show correctly 50 errors, but the build messages tab override the rest of the errors with these two lines

:: More errors follow but not being shown.

:: Edit the max errors limit in compiler options...

so the rest of the build messages tab list is full of these two lines repeated a lot of times.
