Chinese characters on English Win98SE ?!?
Hello.
I just installed Code::Blocks 1.0 RC2 and without tampering with any settings, I imported a Dev-C++ project and tried to compile it (using MinGW32). The build log started to show Chinese characters and eventually stopped. Thing is I run Windows98 SE English, with regional settings Romanian, so there's no way any Chinese characters should have shown up. I hope the following thumbnail will display properly, so you'll better see what's all about.

Please try with a nightly build and reopen this bug report, if
needed.
Thank you for replying. I had tried a a few recent nightlies before posting this bug report, but as all of them appear to be Unicode, I couldn't run any on my system. Thanks to a reply in the forum thread linked to below, I managed to install the respective build, but with no change regarding my situation. Details can be found in my posts, in the respective thread.
