Problem with Backspace in the Russian language.

When I switch on Russian language, and press “Backspace” button, looks like all buttons with letters were turned off... I should switch to En mode, and than switch to Rus mode back for continue taping on Russian language.

OS: Ubuntu Linux 5.10

CB version: 1.0RC2, night build 20060418_rev2360

Yes, it happen in the text editor, when I alter or add Russian comments in my cpp/h files.

The question is: does it happen in **SciTE** (the text editor SciTE, not the editor in Code::Blocks).

We need to know this to know whether it is a Code::Blocks problem or a Scintilla problem. If the same happens in SciTE, we cannot do much about it.

I installed SciTE... in the SciTE editor all is superb!

I noticed, that I can "reset" wrong keyboard state in the CodeBlocks by pressing on any non-letters keys on my keyboard... I mean, when I press on "Shift", for example, I can tape on Russian again...

looks like only buttons with Russian's letters scan-code are blocked during "Backspace"...

Yes, I still have problems with taping on Russian :(

Currently installed:

CB_20060904_rev2953_Ubuntu6.06.deb

This problem only in the Linux CB version.

Windows CB version works fine (launched under Wine in the Linux OS).

Try this experiment. On the Editor configuration dialog, there's a checkbox titled "Backspace unindents". Try toggling it and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, please tell us in which state the problem appears. Also, try disabling the code completion plugin . If the problem persists, try disabling ALL plugins (except compiler). This info should help us pinpointing the location of the bug.

The same problem. The checkbox "Backspace unidents" does not change the bug.

Disabling of any or all plugins does not help.
