Can't save changes to files located /usr/local/include

Saving changes to a file in places like /usr/local/include as a normal user doesn't work, i get a "File <path..> could not be saved" messagebox twice. I tried saving changes to the same file in gedit and it worked.

The permissions on the file is set to 0666 and it doesn't matter if the file's owner is root or me, i get the same error.
