CTRL+TAB behaviour

You have two source files opened, let's call them file1.c and file2.c. The focus is on file1.c, this is shown to the user in the editor.

You want to switch between the two tabs, so you press ctrl+tab, although you have to press it twice to go to file2.c, because at the first keypress it only brings up the selection window.

Expected behaviour for me would be pressing ctrl+tab (once), after release, set focus on file2.c by default.
