Code Completion list box white on white color scheme

My code completion list box has a white on white and light blue color scheme for the selected row:

This is a bit of a nuisance to me because I cannot read the highlighted entry without tilting my laptop's screen. All of the other list boxes have a dark orange background for highlighted items—it seems that the wxScintilla packaged with Code::Blocks comes along with its own list box that eschews the system colors and I cannot figure out where to fix that.

This screenshot is from svn version 8462 with wxWidgets 2.8.12 running under Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal).
