Modifiers for Fxx keys does not work

Revision 7872, dbg branch.

OS: Debian testing, x86_64

Desktop Environment (and window manager): Xfce, Lxde, i3 (tiling window manager)

wxWidgets: 2.8.12

When I try to use ALT/SHIFT/CONTROL keys with Functions keys nothing happen.

By example, SHIFT+F2 does not hide/reveal Manager pane.

For some modifiers (at least CTRL), the problem is not very recent, but for the SHIFT key it appeared since maybe two months (approximately).

I didn't try gnome, because I mostly used codeblocks on a laptop and need lightweight environment.
