Angelscript syntax unchangeable

Opening an angelscript file results in half of the text (that normally should be black) displaying as white. No option in the syntax highlighter will correct the issue. C++ and C files appear normally. The issue is on Code::Blocks 10.5 Revision 6282 on Ubuntu 11.10.
