long tab names

Cmake generated for outside builds often long pathnames to files.

Every open file has in the tab this long path name. resulting to only 2 or 3 tabs visible in the window.

Should be like in VC, only display filename.ext in tab, fulll path visible as tooltip when hovering the tab of the notebook.

There is an option to show short names in the tab header, so this is NOT a bug!!!

Hi,

Very good. But please tell me where is this option??

Settings->Environment->Notebook Appearance

i tried all tab styles there, all long.

I think if there is the option, it should be there.

It not easy to find it, almost feeling stupid that i can't find it :-(

Found it!

Editor Options. But i think its in the wrong place. For me this is how a tab behaves.

Found it via Google in the forum.

This is a matter of taste, because it only is of interest for the editor tabs and not any of the other tabs, I think it bis in the correct place.

So I close this bug.
