'Abort' button on Compiler toolbar does nothing

Windows XP, version 10.05 (svn 6271)

- run application from IDE (target is configured with `Pause when execution ends`)

- application hides console window while execution and terminates or freezes (locked - for example, infinite cycle)

- cb_console_runner.exe is still running (it wait key press in background) and Compiler toolbar is busy (enabled only 'Abort' button)

- press 'Abort' button

- no reaction

In this case I need to kill application using windows task manager.
