High CPU load after a while of idle IDE

I sometimes do not close down Code::Blocks for the night and on checking my system load the next day, I see C::B taking up to 85% percent of my CPU, up from 5% or so from the previous day. I can consistently reproduce this behavior given enough time.

I'm on 32bit Arch Linux using Codeblocks-svn HEAD.

I really do not know what other info is relevant on this but I'm willing to provide any info necessary if you tell me concretely what to provide.
