with umlauts-directory - build messages jumping won't work

If you compile a code file which is saved in a directory with German umlauts ("ä", "ö", etc.), you can't jump directly from the errors/warnings in the "build messages" log to the corresponding line (in the file).

System: Ubuntu 8.04.1
