Configuration is not saved if default compiler is not set

Win XP SP2

SVN 4300 (23/07/2007)

- Open C::B in a fresh environment (no configuration files)

The compiler dialog appears.

- Click on OK without selecting any; don't click on set default.

C::B starts.

- Change the settings (environment, editor...)

- Close C::B.

- Start C::B

- Check the settings

They are not applied.

To be able to save the configuration, I had to set gcc as default compiler.

Configuration has nothing to do with the compiler at all(which is just some arbitrary plugin) and works 100% autonomously.

So, if you see this behaviour, the likely reason is that the application crashes on exit before config can be saved.

Do you have a RPT file?

I had this problem at office with SVN 4300 on Win XP SP2 Pro.

I can't reproduce it at home with SVN 4405 on Win XP SP2 Standard.

As I am on holidays, I'll try to reproduce it with latest nightly at office on 4th September.

Sorry, but I can't reproduce. Any additional information? Does it

still persist?

That's OK for me now. I can't reproduce it any more.

It can be closed.
